Session #4 - DRASTIC.ID: I Am What I Have - Tammy Tolman
Wednesday Dec 13, 2017
Wednesday Dec 13, 2017
This session focuses on the lie that I am only as good as the latest thing that I have. Whether that be on wealth, clothes, family of origin, or even talent. The lives of young people can often look like a pendulum based on the latest craze or thing, rather than the eternal inheritance of heaven. This session to some degree will be spent highlighting the temporal nature of life amidst the eternal story of God.

Session #3 - DRASTIC.ID: KNOWN - Jess Burke
Wednesday Dec 13, 2017
Wednesday Dec 13, 2017
The Lie that the world sells us is that if we showed who we really were, people would hate us. And so accordingly we only show of ourselves to a shallow point if at all. We become consumed by shame, and much like Adam and Even we go into hiding. But the good news is that God is a God who knows us, calls us out of hiding, and clothes us and embraces us.
This hope in this session is that young people would see and experience a taste of what freedom in God can look like. The God who already knows his creation, but wants to be known by his children!

Wednesday Dec 13, 2017
Wednesday Dec 13, 2017
For all of us, but particularly teenagers, we can get caught in the hamster wheel of trying to live up to expectations of others. Am I cool enough? Do I fit in? What does the cool crowd think of me?
Before we know it, our identity is all tied up in what others think about me. Not about what I think about me let alone what God thinks about me.
In this session, Andrew provides a terrific testimony, and takes us through Jesus' interactions with Bartimaeus and the implications that might have on our identity.
